Remote play enables you to play only what you have in your library whereas XCloud is a streaming service I believe, allowing you to access a catalogue of games wider than just what you have on your XBox. Speaking of which, can remote play on the PS5 be done via the Vita as well as mobile devices? The same thing happened to me with remote play on my windows pc, so I didn't even try on my MacBook. However the ps4 DualShock 4 controller connects and works flawlessly over bluetooth, which I have tested on my MBA. You’ll only need to do this the first time you use Remote Play: From the home screen, select Settings System Remote Play, and then turn on Enable Remote Play. To start Remote Play while your PS5 console is in rest mode, select Settings System Power Saving Features Available in Rest Mode. Then turn on Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning on PS5 from Network.

I haven't gotten my ps5 yet but it should be arriving soon. On ps4 I was able to use some third party remote play app which allowed me to use the Samsung glap controller with my note (also let me play over my data plan while out). Trying to figure out if I need to order one of those controller/phone connectors.

My question is if anyone knows if ps5 remote play supports the glap controller? Also is there the ability to play without wifi or a similar third party app with the added functionality?
